It is hard to believe that the season is coming to a close but this spring we are committed and prepared to offer great on ice and off ice conditioning clinics, spring select teams, camps and youth pick up hockey.

Clinics

The spring clinics are going to start on the week of April 2, 2012 and will consist of 13 consecutive weekly clinics for Mini-Mite to Midget aged players. The clinics are going to cover both on ice and off ice training with an hour of on ice skills training as well as an hour of off ice conditioning exercise. Within the off ice training, depending on which package you purchase, each player will have a 20 minute treadmill lesson included.

The skill and conditioning based clinics that we will be hosting are the key tools in becoming a better athlete and hockey player. These clinics are essential for players advancing their game and taking themselves to the next level.

Dates and costs of the clinics are soon to follow.

Youth Pick Up Hockey

Starting March 24, 2012 we are going to be offering half-ice youth pick-up games every Saturday at 4:25pm. The pick-up game will consist of 3 on 3 or 4 on 4 games, depending on the number of players. The youth pick up is offered for boys and girls from Mite to Bantam aged players.

The beauty of this program is the creativity it creates and allows by having our players skate in a smaller area. Players are going to be forced to play “heads-up” hockey and use their agility to make plays. Puck movement will be at an all time high with half-ice games.

The cost of the youth pick-up games will be released shortly.

Mini Mite Hockey (2005-2006)

Our Mite ADM team is going to be participating in the Icetown In House hockey program through the spring. The dates of the spring season are April 13, 2012 – June 23, 2012 and the cost is $325. The season is going to consist of 10 practices and 10 games. This is a great program as the team is going to be participating in full ice games and preparing for the 2012-2013 season. The In House season is going to end just prior to tryouts which will allow each player to be in top shape for tryouts.

Mite Hockey (2004-2005)

Our Mite team is going to be participating in the OC Spring Select league. This team is going to be comprised of mainly the returning Jr. Reign Mite B team and will be coached by Nick Besheer.

**Any players who do not wish to participate in the OC Select league are welcome to play in Icetown’s In House spring hockey season.**

Squirt Hockey (2002-2003)

We are proud to be offering a few options for squirt aged players. Our squirt tournament team is going to be participating in the Icetown In House league while also participating in Easter and Memorial Day tournaments.

The squirt SCAHA team will be participating in the OC Spring Select League. The team is going to be coached by Steve Fox and will be comprised of returning squirt players as well as 2003 birth year players that are going to be first year squirts.

**Any players who do not wish to participate in the OC Select league are welcome to play in Icetown’s In House spring hockey season.**

Peewee Hockey (2000-2001)

The Peewee team is going to be participating in the OC Spring Select League. This team is going to be coached by Ronnie White. Ronnie has a vast experience in coaching hockey in southern California. He has been the head coach of Bantam and Midget Tier I and Tier II teams for the California Wave and Huntington Beach Sun Devils since 2003. His teams have appeared and won several State, Regional and National medals. Ronnie is currently coaching the Cal State Fullerton Titan ice hockey team and we are excited to be bringing Ronnie on as our Peewee coach for the 2012-2013 season.

**Any players who do not wish to participate in the OC Select league are welcome to play in Icetown’s In House spring hockey season.**

Bantam Hockey (1998-1999)

Our Bantam team is going to be participating in the OC Spring Select League. The team is going to be comprised of returning Bantam players from our very successful team this season. We are looking forward to building another great team for the spring and SCAHA 2012-2013 season.

**Any players who do not wish to participate in the OC Select League are welcome to play in Icetown’s In House spring hockey season.**

Midget Hockey (1994-1997)

We are going to be placing our Midget ‘A’ team in the OC Select League. This team is going to be comprised of mainly the returning players from this seasons Midget Tournament team and will be coached by Nick Besheer and Matt Dunaev.

The 16AA and 18AA teams are going to be participating in Easter and Memorial Day tournaments with training camps leading up to the tournaments. The training camps will consist of team practices as well as individual specific training in the gym to prepare the team for the tournaments. Lady Reign Hockey

The Lady Reign will have two teams participating in the Icetown In House spring season which will be the 8U and 10U teams. With the strong development by our dedicated coaching staff, we feel that the in house program is a superior option for these teams.

The Lady Reign 12U/14U/16U teams will be participating in clinics and tournaments as well. More information will be available soon but feel free to contact head coach Nick Besheer at nbesheer@jrreign.com or (951) 906-5492.

IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON SIGNING UP FOR THE OC SELECT LEAGUE, YOU MUST CONTACT THE COACH OF YOUR TEAM AS WELL AS SIGN UP.

The OC Select league is going to cost $250 per player and will consist of 10 games, 1 team practice (shared ice), and a jersey (provided by the OC Select League). All payments and registrations are made directly to the OC Select League, not Icetown. Please see the teams below:

Click on the OC SELECT LEAGUE under REGISTER ONLINE HERE on the Home Page or on any REGISTER ONLINE link
Each individual on your team must be a member of their own family account at The-Rinks/Anaheim ICE or Westminster ICE in order to use the registration process

Click "Search or Register" from the menu on the left
Choose Select League (Division) from the drop-down list
Scroll through the activity options until you find the team you want to register for
- if you don’t see your team, inform your team contact know that they will need to complete the Team Registration form to request that the team be set-up for registration in our system
Coaches please choose the “Select League (Coach)” option
Click on the name of your team
Click "Register"
Select the name of the family registrant (participant) from the drop-down list
Complete all requested fields
Scroll down to accept the waiver of liability by clicking the box “I ACCEPT THE TERMS OF THE WAIVER”
Select the applicable Activity Fees (there is no fee for coaches or for players on a team who has made a team payment)
Click "Add to Cart"
PLEASE NOTE: If registering for more than one program, repeat these steps until all family members are registered.
