Jr. Reign Battles for Gold at Labor Day Festival

The Jr. Reign program opened its 2026-27 season in championship form, with multiple squads fighting their way to the title game at the Labor Day Festival — the club's first tournament of the year. Four different Jr. Reign teams punched their ticket to the finals, and three of them skated away with championship hardware.

8U Champions

Jr. Reign's youngest travel squads both delivered in the title game. The 8U B team edged California Surf 3-2 in a tight, back-and-forth championship, while the 8U A squad made a statement with a 4-1 win over the Mavericks to claim gold in their division as well.

10U: A Championship and a Heartbreaker

The 10U group had one team standing tall and another falling just short. The 10U BB team dominated the title game, routing Empire 8-2 to take the championship. The 10U A squad wasn't as fortunate, falling 4-3 in overtime to Goldrush in a final that had all the drama of a game seven — a tough finish, but a run to the championship game against strong competition.

14U AA2 Takes the Title

The 14U AA2 team capped off a strong tournament run by topping California Surf 3-2 in the championship, a hard-fought contest that came down to the wire.

16U AA2 falls just short

The 16U AA2 team participated in the Tinseltown Labor Day showdown, where they finished in 2nd place. A tough ending to a great tournament, great work Jr Reign!
