The Jr. Reign 16A decided as a team to adopt a family for Christmas. They asked a local church for a family in need and were given a family with the children’s names, ages, and sizes.
The family had two boys, ages 18 and 15, and two girls, ages 12 and 5.. An email was sent to the team and the response was incredible! All four kids received new shoes, clothes, gift cards to Tilly’s and Kohl’s along with toys and sports equipment. One family on the team made each child their own blanket also. It was awesome. They were also able to bring a
Christmas tree and decorations along with hundreds of dollars in gift cards to a local grocery store so they could buy their Christmas Dinner. Some of the sisters on the team even baked cupcakes and brownies for the needy family.

The
team showed up on the Saturday before Christmas and the boys delivered all of the gifts to the family and there were pictures and hugs all around. For many of the boys, this was the best part of Christmas. Times are tough right now and the amazing show of generosity by the entire team was truly remarkable.
